Spine Stretch

Spine Stretch

Purpose: a good stretch to reduce tension along the upper, mid and lower back. This stretch also focuses on pelvis and hip mobility as well as hamstrings flexibility.

  1. Sit on the floor with your feet wider than your hips, tuck your chin in and begin to bend forward by hinging at the hips.
  2. Your hand should not reach past your toes, you are not aiming to lie on the floor.
  3. Once you feel the stretch through your back, slowly return to the starting position.
  4. Do this several times daily, after the end of your workday.
